Unleash your child’s creativity this summer at Valley Arts! In this hands-on workshop, young artists will dive into the world of pottery, learning the fundamental techniques needed to transform a simple ball of clay into unique, handcrafted figurines.
During this session, students will master essential skills, including wedging, rolling, and sculpting. Students will be guided through the process of sculpting and demonstrate the proper way to securely attach clay pieces to bring their imaginative characters and animals to life.
Class Details:
Project: 2-3 sculpted figurines
Ages: 6–14
Time: 2 Hours
Price: $50 per child (All supplies included)
Class Size: 6 students for personalized instruction.
Materials:
All supplies are included.
Wear clothes you are comfortable getting clay on…clay will wash out.
Note: After the workshop, pieces will be professionally fired and glazed in our kiln. Your child's custom creations will be ready for pickup 3–4 weeks after the class date.
