Hi, Welcome!
Adrianna Taylor is an artist with a profound vision: to make the invisible visible. Her creative journey, which began in high school, led her to major in Fine Arts at New York’s Alfred University. A pivotal part of her development was an internship and mentorship with renowned Welsh potter Alun Ward, founder and owner of Blue Ridge Pottery.
Adrianna is a mixed media artist working primarily in painting and ceramics. She finds inspiration in the concept of "valley moments"—the small, unnoticed, dry, and low experiences of life—and prayerfully illustrates the signatures of beauty present in them, just as much as in the "mountain top" experiences. She believes in the beautiful invitation to co-create and make the invisible Kingdom visible to others.
This philosophy is the seed of Valley Arts Studio, her welcoming space located on Main Street in Stanardsville, VA. Opened in November, the studio is designed to be more than just a place to create; it is a space to cultivate community through the arts, opening up doors for meaningful and impactful conversation in the mountains as well as the valley. Adrianna is dedicated to sharing her gifts through Valley Arts classes, inviting everyone to embrace the opportunity to learn and see unlimited possibilities through creative expression.
